Here we have another of Geof's mail art pieces. I am mailing him a post card today, and I wrote on the back that "it's too hot to blog".

1000 photostream views

Okay, I guess I am tooting my own horn here. I recently upgraded to a pro account on Flickr and now I have been uploading full size versions of my photographs. And yesterday I reached 1000 views. I have really been enjoying this site. Originally I got a free account to host images for this blog. I know some of you already have Flickr accounts.

If you want to see my photos click the following link. (I think you might have to register to view the photos, but it's free and all they require is a login ID and an email address)

Latuff "free palestine stamps"

Stamps on the inside of this envelope - none on the outside. Thank you Latuff.

Geof Huth Scrapmail #3 qbdp #57

The inside of the envelope is a map. I think Geof Huth (and his sublime mailart) are beyond the valley of the super frosty ultra cool.

Torben Doose

This is a vintage postcard remade into mail art. Thanks Torben.

Keith Bates "Dodos"

“Perhaps it is time that snailmailart drew to a close, especially as postal costs, in England at least, continue to escalate.

I understand that young people find virtually no use for post offices or letters at all – preferring to do everything by cell phone, resulting in post offices being rapidly closed all over England.

Perhaps mailart has become a Dodo.” ---Michael Lumb
