I think it's cool, too, Mick. The network is important. In a world of conflict and stife, mail art is a "butterfly" movement. As I paraphrased to Clemente Padin (after Katrina hit New Orleans), a butterfly flapping its wings in Japan can create a hurrican on the other side of the world.
